A warranty certificate tied to your car

How the certificate works

Every Tyron set is registered to one chassis number (VIN). On the day a certified workshop fits the set, we record your VIN and contact details and issue the certificate in your name. The certificate stays valid through tyre changes as long as each refit is done by a certified workshop.

When it is issued

On fitting day, once all wheels in the set are fitted and balanced. Bring the chassis number if you did not enter it when booking. Fitted only by a certified workshop.

What voids it

  • Fitting or refitting by a workshop that is not Tyron certified
  • A band fitted to the wrong rim size
  • Moving the set to a different vehicle without notifying us (tell us the new VIN and the warranty continues, subject to tyre and rim size)

What it covers

  • 10 years from the day of installation, 1:1 product exchange
  • Backed by Lloyd’s of London global product liability insurance covering the system’s performance within its operating guidelines
  • No refit fee at tyre changes; only the workshop’s normal installation fee
  • Stays with the car if you sell it: the new owner is covered for the remaining term
