Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Tyron Asia (“Tyron”, “we”) collects through tyronasia.com, why, and how it is handled. It is written to meet the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore).
What we collect
- Enquiry forms (quote, contact, fleet enquiry, workshop application): name, phone number, email address, company or organisation, vehicle make, model, tyre size, car plate, preferred fitting date, your area or postcode, and anything you type in a message field.
- Warranty registration at fitting: your name, contact details and the vehicle chassis number (VIN), recorded by the certified workshop and by us to issue and maintain your warranty certificate.
- Technical data: our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and capacity. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry with a price, fitting date and the nearest certified workshop, usually on WhatsApp or by phone.
- To issue, record and honour the 10-year warranty tied to your vehicle chassis number, including transfers to a new owner or vehicle.
- To assess and certify workshop applicants.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party marketing. If you asked for a tyre-replacement reminder, we will message you once about that and nothing else.
Who receives it
- Form relay: website forms are delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which processes the submission in transit.
- Certified workshops: the workshop fitting your set receives your name, phone number, vehicle and tyre details to carry out the fitting and record the chassis number.
- Messaging: if you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta’s WhatsApp terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation.
- Embedded services: videos are served from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode; fonts from Google Fonts; the workshop map (when live) from OpenStreetMap. These providers may receive your IP address when the content loads.
- Authorities: where required by law.
Data may be processed by our offices in Asia. Where it leaves the country it was collected in, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a fitting: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Warranty records: for the 10-year warranty term plus 2 years.
- Workshop applications: for the duration of the partnership, or 12 months if not approved.
Security
Forms are sent over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and warranty records is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or limit how we use it. Write to info@tyronasia.com or WhatsApp +60 12-263 8132. We respond within 21 days. Note that deleting warranty records may make the warranty impossible to honour.
Children
The site is for drivers and fleet buyers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
